Where athletes
are built
We build the complete athlete: speed, power, movement and mindset, alongside the sport they already play.
- Ages 8-12
- Ontario
- 2 classes open
Most young athletes spend almost all of their training time on their sport. General athletic development can get left behind. Athlete Factory is built to complement your main sport, not compete with it.
The complete athlete
Eleven areas in three groups, trained alongside the sport your kid already plays.
Physical
4 areasThe engine: how fast, strong and explosive they are, and how long it lasts.
Speed & acceleration
First-step quickness and top-end speed, built through mechanics, not just running more.
Strength
Age-appropriate strength work that builds a durable, resilient body.
Power
Turning strength into explosive jumps, throws and change of direction.
Conditioning
The engine to repeat quality efforts for a full game, not just a first quarter.
Movement
5 areasThe control: moving well, staying stable and reacting in space.
Movement quality
Squat, hinge, push, pull and rotate patterns done well, before they're done heavy.
Coordination
Multi-limb control that makes every other skill easier to learn.
Balance
Single-leg stability that protects joints during cuts and landings.
Agility & change of direction
Decelerating under control before accelerating again in a new direction.
Reaction
Reading a cue and responding fast, on the field and off it.
Mind & habits
2 areasThe athlete behind the body: how they think, compete and fuel.
Mindset
Confidence, effort, coachability and how an athlete handles a mistake.
More on mindsetNutrition education
Age-appropriate habits around fueling, hydration and recovery, not meal plans.

How we coach
1
Progress, not perfection
Nobody's performance is perfect, there's always room to improve. We celebrate small wins, not flawless reps.
2
Keep it simple
No fads, no 12-week miracles. Solid basics, coached well, week after week.
3
Habits that last
What kids learn here should still serve them at 15, 25 and beyond, not just this season.

Meet your head coach
Naveed LalzadHead Coach
- Men's Physique top 5 competitor
- Soccer player
- Functional training coach
- Dad of two
Naveed has been an athlete his whole life: a soccer player, a top 5 Men's Physique competitor, and now a coach. He went from a skinny kid to the competition stage, and learned the hard way that all-or-nothing doesn't last.
Today he coaches balance over quick fixes: progress, not perfection, and habits that stick. Some of his clients from five years ago are still going strong. He brings the same approach to young athletes: one short drill a week to practice at home, not a second training plan.
Naveed also coaches adults at U Matter Fitness. @umatter.fitness
